About case

Chinese computer hardware manufacturer DeepCool decided to expand its presence on the Russian market and take part in one of the largest offline open-air festivals organized by the social network VKontakte. However, setting up a branded space at this event requires huge financial outlay — the kind only companies with billion-dollar marketing budgets can afford.

IGM came to the rescue! We are the biggest gaming community on VKontakte and are regularly invited to host our own booth — which opens doors for brands that, as our partners, land right in the heart of the event.

Specifically for DeepCool, we built out a space in the Park of the 300th Anniversary of Saint Petersburg and, over two days, captured the attention of hundreds of thousands of the target audience, shining a light on the manufacturer’s products. The booth featured a large stage, a photo zone and activities that highlighted the brand’s USPs, while the entertainment programme included quizzes, contests, tournaments, cosplayers and our famous lottery-ticket prize draws.
